Canisha Bell

Canisha is a meditation facilitator, mindfulness educator, and yoga practitioner. As a former mindfulness coordinator for Crim’s Mindfulness Initiative, her yoga path began in 2018 when she started teacher training. Having already had a meditation practice, Canisha truly immersed herself in yoga philosophy. As she taught classes in community settings and met various community members from all walks of life, backgrounds, and histories, Canisha realized a theme–many people felt they could not practice yoga because they thought they were not flexible enough, not in shape, not the right size, etc. Canisha has made it her personal mission to make any class she teaches feel accessible, inclusive, and welcoming. Yoga is for every ‘body’, every person, no matter what.
