May is Mental Health Month, which aims to raise awareness about mental health. Together, we fight stigma, provide support, educate the public, and advocate for policies that support the millions of people in the U.S. affected by mental illness. We have two events discussing trauma and the impact it can have on the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of children, families, and communities.

The Crim Mindfulness Initiative invites you to join us at the virtual table as we, along with others in the community, bring the topic of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) into full awareness. On the continued journey to support a more vibrant and compassionate Flint, the Crim will host this gathering for those currently supporting or interested in learning more.

This virtual gathering and presentation will take place from 12pm to 1:30pm on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, and will be led by Crim Mindfulness Initiative team member Elizabeth Wise.
