Flint, Michigan – The Crim Fitness Foundation is proud to announce its upcoming Serene Saturday Wellness Retreat, taking place 10am – 4pm Saturday, April 4 at the Crim Fitness Foundation, 719 Harrison Street in downtown Flint. This six-hour mini-retreat will offer much needed peace, calm and respite from the noise of daily life.
“This retreat is more than just a day of relaxation; it is a commitment to yourself,” says Special Project Manager, Theresa Roach. “Prioritizing yourself, your mental wellbeing, your physical wellbeing, can be challenging. A one day retreat like this gives people a chance to try it out for themselves.”
The retreat offers a mental reset to help participants gain clarity and shake off the dust from the past. The retreat will provide a gentle, trauma-informed environment that allows attendees to move at their own pace through gentle movement, breathwork, sound immersion and yoga.
Event Details:
- Admission: $75 per person.
- Ages: Participants must be 18 or older.
- Materials: Limited mats, blankets, and blocks are available, though participants are welcome to bring their own.

At the center of this event is the Crim’s core philosophy: People First + Innovation = Greater Well-being. By centering the needs of the community and thinking creatively about wellbeing programs, policies and systems, the Crim aims to provide a space where every participant feels seen, supported, and safe.
All proceeds from the event directly fund the Crim’s ongoing work to improve the health and quality of life for residents across Genesee County.
