A Tradition of Competition, Community, and Pride

The Greater Flint Olympian Games bring together youth and adults from across Genesee County for a summer-long celebration of sport, connection, and community pride.

Established in 1957, the Games have grown into one of the region’s most recognized community traditions, offering athletes of all ages the opportunity to compete, represent their neighborhoods, and be part of something bigger.

Each year, 900+ athletes (ages 5–99) compete across 23+ sport areas, from darts and bowling to NFL Flag Football, basketball, soccer and more. For many, it’s not just about competition, it’s about earning the opportunity to represent Flint on an international stage at the CANUSA Games.

In 2024, the Greater Flint Olympian Games and CANUSA Games were inducted into the Greater Flint Area Sports Hall of Fame, recognizing their lasting impact on generations of athletes.

Led by Crim through Crim Sports, the Games are part of a unified system that connects local play to citywide and international opportunity.
