Join the Crim and Mott Community College on April 18th for the third annual Mott Miles Challenge: Run with the Bears! In this “special format” race, runners and walkers are allotted a three-hour time window where they can run or walk as many one-mile loops as they choose on a course closed to traffic.
You can run or walk continuously between loops or take a break- it’s up to you! Each time a participant crosses the shared start/finish line, their loop will be recorded and they can choose to continue to run or walk additional loops. The start/finish area will also serve as “Party Central.” Participants can expect a well-stocked aid station (donuts, granola bars, fruit, Absopure water and other beverages), music, cheering spectators, and our announcer calling your name as you finish or embark on additional loops.
Come hang out with Running Bear and Monty the Mott Bear and challenge yourself to as many loops as you’d like. This is a great race for anyone looking for a fun day out or who may be looking for a custom training opportunity. This is also a great race for the whole family, so bring the kids!
All participants receive a custom, technical fabric shirt, bib and timing tag, plus an awesome 4” finisher medal. Awards, fabricated by the Mott Community College Fab Lab, are given in unique categories like fastest loop, most loops completed, and more!
