Yoga Ed. is a Yoga Teacher Training focused on learning to teach yoga and the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of yoga with Pre-K- 5th grade youth. The Crim is delighted to be offering Yoga Ed. Training in Flint. Participants in this course need to have experience practicing yoga personally before they attend this training to learn to share it with youth. It is recommended that individuals have practiced yoga for at least one year before attending this course. This course is not practical for those who are brand new to yoga.
This training is beneficial and designed for individuals inspired to teach yoga to Pre-K and Elementary students. Upon completion of the training, participants are equipped with tools to support youth in contributing to a lifetime of health and wellness through the practice of yoga. Please note this program will only offer certification to teach students in Pre-K to 5th grade.
This course will occur Monday, July 22, 2024 - July 25, 2024. The training is held for 4 days from 9:30 am - 4:30 pm
Yoga Ed. is an accredited course through Yoga Alliance. In order to receive the certification, participants must be in attendance for all four days of the institute. Due to the integrity of the program and the accreditation, the instructors are unable to make any accommodation for the attendance requirements of the course.
For educators, 24 SCECH Hours are offered for this training.
