How To Reward Yourself After A Run or Walk
Running doesn’t have to be a stoic type of activity, you can definitely reward yourself. In a running group, you probably realize a lot of runners like beer. There’s nothing better than finishing an hour run in the summer of a muggy evening and cracking open that first Labatt. It tastes 10 times better when you just got done with a run. It’s the little things you can reward yourself with and really make it a positive experience. I do that often with hot sauce or chocolate. After a marathon, I like ton take that as license to eat an entire Chicago style pizza. Anything that you can have to make the activity fun or reward yourself for putting in the work can really make the habit and consistent nature of training more rewarding.
