Bib & T-shirt Pickup: 2020 Commit to Fit! Crim Health & Fitness Expo

EXPO LOCATION: Riverfront Conference Center, 1 Riverfront Center West, Flint, MI 48502

Don’t Forget: You MUST present a photo ID to pick up your packet. To pick up someone else’s packet, you must have his/her photo ID or a copy of their photo ID. Also, be sure and bring your bib number to the Expo to ensure the fastest pickup (check your email or visit crim.org to find your bib number as the race date approaches).

EXPO DATES:

Thursday, August 20, 2019: 2pm – 8pm

Friday, August 21, 2019: 11am – 8pm

Saturday, August 22, 2019: Bib Pickup/Late Registration: 6:30am - 9am; Expo: 7am - Noon

BIB / T-SHIRT PICK-UP:

You will pick up your race bib and t-shirt at the Commit to Fit! Health & Fitness Expo. Your bib is imprinted with your race number and your timing device attached to it.  It identifies you, and only you, as an official competitor. Unauthorized transfer of bib numbers is illegal!

You must wear the bib on your FRONT, and it must be visible at all times during the event. Otherwise you may not be timed properly. Competitive Walkers will also have a bib to be worn on the back as well.

Runners/Walkers without their numbers visible are subject to disqualification.
You may not alter the bib or the printing in any way.
When you arrive at the Expo, go to the packet pick up area and present a photo ID to the volunteers. They will be ready to assist you with your bib and t-shirt.
To pick up a bib and t-shirt for someone else, you must present the friend/family member’s photo ID or a copy of their ID.

6:45pm – USATF Masters Men

7:00pm – USATF Masters Women

7:15pm – Michigan Mile Open – All Ages & Abilities
You are racing in the Michigan Mile Open if you have not registered as a professional or if you are older than 12 years old.

7:20pm – Young Runners Mile (12 and under)
Parents welcome to accompany children

Saturday, August 22

*** IMPORTANT: Plan to arrive at your corral area at least 15 minutes before your start time.

10 Mile Race presented by McLaren Flint
7:30am – Wheelers and hand cyclists, sponsored by Fusion Medial

7:50am – 30 Year Runners

8am – Run/Walk & Competitive Walk

Half Crim Race (5 Mile) presented by Al Serra Auto Plaza
9:30am – Run

9:40am – Walk

5K Race presented by Huntington Bank

10am – Run

10:10am – Family Walk (strollers allowed in final wave)

10 MILE + 5K RULE: All racers participating in both the 10 Mile and the 5K must finish the 10 Mile race by 10:30am at the latest.

Teddy Bear Trot presented by Financial Plus Credit Union

12pm (parents welcome to accompany kids) Race starts in front of City Hall on Saginaw Street and ends at the Festival Finish Line (Distance: .29 miles)

10 Mile Wave Starts with Letter-coded Corrals

Please arrive at your corral area at least 15 minutes before your start time.

To ease congestion at the start, runners and walkers are assigned to a corral according to their anticipated finish time.   If you did not include an anticipated finish time when you registered you will be placed in the last start corral.

Corral entrances are at the back of each corral.
When the Start horn blasts, the first wave will be released. Approximately 90 seconds after one wave goes off, the next wave will begin, until all waves have been released.
By using this wave approach, runners and walkers alike will be able to compete at their own pace without dealing with congestion.
If you want to run/walk with a family member or friend that is in a different corral, the racer assigned to the faster corral is welcome to move back to a slower corral, but no one is allowed to move forward.

Combo Racer Details

If you signed up for a Combo to race in the 10 Mile plus the 5K or the "Half Crim":

You will receive one Combo bib that will work for both of your events.
10 MILE + 5K RULE: All racers participating in both the 10 Mile and the 5K must finish the 10 Mile race by 10:30am at the latest.
Once you finish the 10 Mile leg of your race, grab your 10 Mile medal, grab some fluids and nutrition, and make your way to the start line for your next race.
If you finish the 10 Mile early, you'll need to wait until the mass start of the Half Crim or 5K race. To keep your muscles moving and warm, Advanced Physical Therapy Center will be leading a 5K warmup exercise session starting at 9:45am!

The Half Crim start timing mats will be open until 9:45am

The 5K start timing mats will remain open until 10:45am
