Greater Flint Olympian Sports League

Greater Flint Olympian Sports League

The Greater Flint Olympian Sports League is an extension of the summer Greater Flint Olympian Games and is a fundamental sports league that operates within Genesee County and focuses on player development. The overarching goal of the Greater Flint Olympian Sports League is to facilitate an athletic program within Genesee County Elementary and Middle Schools to help develop and funnel student athletes into future High School sports programs. This gives student athletes in all GISD districts the opportunity to compete at another level against other school districts.

The GFOSL also gives these athletes the opportunity to be selected to compete in the summer Greater Flint Olympian Games as well as the CANUSA Games.

This sports league encompasses both boys and girls teams for 3rd - 4th Grade and 5th - 6th Grade. These athletes will have the opportunity to compete in a variety of different sport offerings, such as: Football, Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, Baseball, Softball and Track.
