Theresa Roach

Theresa is an advocate for healthy, mindful communities. She has worked at the Crim for 12 years, focusing on advocacy, policy and activating neighborhoods. Theresa joined the mindfulness team in 2022. She believes that mindfulness can help individuals navigate the challenges of civic engagement, advocacy and community improvement. In her previous role, Theresa has collaborated with everyone from neighborhood groups, elected officials and community-based organizations. Theresa is a Flint native and graduate of Hamady High School. She received a degree in Journalism from Central Michigan University and a Masters of Communication & Digital Media Design from Saginaw Valley State University. She is also a Crim Mindfulness Fellow, Certified to teach Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute.
