Marti Austin Kids Classic
Saturday, June 1st
Kick off a summer of running, playing, and being active with the Marti Austin Kids Classic on June 1st at the Flint Cultural Center! This “mini-Crim” is for youth ages 0-12. Each participating child receives a t-shirt, and a finisher medal. Children can participate in the Diaper Dash, Toddler Trot, 1/4 Mile, 1/2 Mile, or 1 Mile race. The day includes fun activities for the entire family centered on health and fitness.
Late Registration and Packet Pickup begin at 8:00am. The events begin at 9:30am and will run back-to-back in the following order: Diaper Dash, Toddler Trot, 1/4 Mile, 1/2 Mile, 1 Mile
Parents are welcome to run/walk with their children in any event, no registration needed.
New this year join us for the MSU Teddy Bear Health Fair either before or after your child's race! Families can bring their teddy bear for an experience to learn more about an experience with healthcare procedures.
Pricing (all distances except for Diaper Dash includes a shirt):

Teddy Bear Health Fair
New this year join us for the MSU Teddy Bear Health Fair either before or after your child's race! At this free community event, children and their adult friends can engage in fun physical activities to get their bodies moving, enjoy samples of delicious healthy snacks, and interact with first responders, health professionals, and MSU medical students.
Children are encouraged to bring their favorite teddy bear or stuffed animal for a ‘health checkup’ at the Teddy Bear Hospital and adults can discover health and wellness resources in their community.
