Chris Collins holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Saginaw Valley State University and a Masters of Science in Athletic Administration from Ohio University.

Before joining with the Crim, he was a Student Management Assistant- Activities Director at the International Academy of Saginaw. Within this role, he took on an additional role of starting organized sports and after-school activities. After coaching multiple sports for 3 years, he saw an opportunity to come back to Flint to work and serve in his hometown - as the Community School Director at Durant-Tuuri-Mott Elementary. He has always had a passion for helping people, specifically in the area of education. Chris knew how important having a support network is in the development of our community and he believes that he can have the greatest impact by serving in this capacity. He is excited about all of the possibilities that exist with the help of all of our community partners, volunteers from our neighborhoods, and school community. Chris feels strongly that with all hands on deck, we really have a unique opportunity to be an impetus for change in Flint! Chris loves outdoor sports and activities like fishing, hunting, and camping!
