How To Become A Partner

How To Become A Partner

Flint Community Education Initiative convenes partners to deliver school-based supports for students, their families, and the school neighborhood. Partner activities are reflective of each school’s goals outlined by a site-based needs assessment, annual work plan, and school improvement plan. All partner activities focus on Flint CEI's goals for improving student attendance, increasing 3rd grade reading levels, increasing graduation & grade promotion rates, and supporting community & neighborhood impact.

Thank you to our 60 plus partners for providing adult education, early education enrichment, health services, expanded learning opportunities, parent engagement, and community & economic engagement activities. Each of our partners have supported the Flint CEI in unique ways throughout the years, support which notably amounts to an in-kind contribution of $6,950,706. This investment allows the Flint CEI to continue to offer programs for free within our schools.

All partners within the Flint CEI enter into formal partnership agreements with the Crim Fitness Foundation and the school district of the school. In order to become a community partner with the Flint CEI, the first step is to fill out a Community Partner Information form.
