2012 Summer Running Club schedule will be available in May 2012

Summer Running Club

The CrimFit Summer Running Clubs keep children active all summer long in preparation for the Crim Festival of Races.

This program serves as a means of encouraging children to be healthy and more active through the summer months. These running clubs also help young people (ages 2-18) get in shape and form healthy habits by:

  • Providing a positive focus for building self-esteem and promoting a healthy lifestyle that includes regular exercise.
  • Offering an opportunity to train for a Crim event of choice. A variety of creative methods are used to help children achieve their goals.

Training sessions involve warm-ups, stretching, running/walking, games and relays. Healthy snacks and water are served at each session. Participants receive a special CrimFit Running Club t-shirt.
