Learn how to use sports-based youth development to teach young athletes leadership skills, boost their self confidence and other important life skills to bring out the best in your athletes. Training will include:
- Five pillars of sports based youth development
- How to create a team culture
- How to manage challenging behavior
- Planning programs
- Safety and Emergency management and more.
All participants will receive lunch and the Up2Us Coach Playbook, an 85-page guide to integrating sports-based youth development into coaching.
Registration is free to Flint Community School staff, Flint’s Community Education Sports coaches, Summer Running Club captains and Girls on the Run coaches. Registration costs $60 for all others (Limited to 100 Participants).
