Wonderful Winter Squash

Ingredients

  • 1 winter squash butternut or acorn
  • 2 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey

Cooking Preparation

  • 1. Cut squash in half, peel it, and remove seeds.
  • 2. Cut in 1 inch cubes.
  • 3. Place squash in large pot with ½ cup water.
  • 4. Add soy sauce and syrup/honey.
  • 5. Cover and simmer over medium heat until squash is tender (15-20 minutes.)
