- 5 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cups shelled green peas
- 3 green onions with stems chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 teaspoons fresh basil (optional)
- Hot pepper flakes to taste (optional)
- Grated parmesan cheese
- 1. Heat olive oil in large pan.
- 2. Add peas and green onions and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
- 3. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- 4. Add basil and or/red pepper flakes.
- 5. Cover pan for 1-2 minutes.
- 6. Just before serving sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
- 7. Serve hot.
