Peas and Onions

Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cups shelled green peas
  • 3 green onions with stems chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 teaspoons fresh basil (optional)
  • Hot pepper flakes to taste (optional)
  • Grated parmesan cheese

Cooking Preparation

  • 1. Heat olive oil in large pan.
  • 2. Add peas and green onions and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  • 3. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • 4. Add basil and or/red pepper flakes.
  • 5. Cover pan for 1-2 minutes.
  • 6. Just before serving sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  • 7. Serve hot.
