- 2 cups fresh carrots scrubbed and sliced
- ¼ cup cooking liquid or 1 tablespoon margarine
- 1 apple cored peeled and sliced
- 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1. Cook carrots until almost tender, drain, save liquid.
- 2. In large frying pan, melt margarine.
- 3. Add remaining ingredients.
- 4. Cover and cook over low heat until apple is tender, stir occasionally.
