Caramelized Onions

Ingredients

  • 1 large onion peeled and sliced into 1.4 inch slices
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Cooking Preparation

  • 1. Peel and slice onion into ¼ inch slices.
  • 2. Heat oil in large skillet.
  • 3. Stir onions over low to medium heat until caramel colored.
  • 4. Sprinkle sugar over the onions about halfway through cooking to help them brown.
