- 1 large onion peeled and sliced into 1.4 inch slices
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1. Peel and slice onion into ¼ inch slices.
- 2. Heat oil in large skillet.
- 3. Stir onions over low to medium heat until caramel colored.
- 4. Sprinkle sugar over the onions about halfway through cooking to help them brown.
