Blueberry Buttermilk Muffins

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • ¼ pound butter
  • 2 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 ½ cups fresh blueberries rinsed

Cooking Preparation

  • 1. Stir flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together in a large bowl.
  • 2. In a saucepan, melt the butter and cook until slightly brown.
  • 3. Make a well in the dry mixture and add buttermilk, eggs and melted butter.
  • 4. Mix well.
  • 5. Stir in fresh blueberries.
  • 6. Fell Well-greased muffin tins half full.
  • 7. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
  • 8. Serve warm.
