Apple and Carrot Casserole

Ingredients

  • 6 large carrots
  • 5 large apples
  • 5 tablespoons sugar
  • 5 tablespoons flour
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon margarine
  • ½ cup orange juice

Cooking Preparation

  1. Slice carrots thinly and cook in salted water for 5 minutes and drain.
  2. Slice apples and cook for 5 minutes in clear water and drain.
  3. Layer carrots and apples in casserole dish.
  4. Mix sugar, flour, and nutmeg and sprinkle on top of carrots/apples.
  5. Dot with margarine.
  6. Pour orange juice over all.
  7. Bake 30-40 minutes in 350 degree oven.
